Likorall™ Patient Lift Systems

Baxter Corporation is issuing an urgent medical device correction for the Likorall™ ceiling-mounted overhead patient lift system due to a potential issue involving motor shaft breakage combined with reduced performance of the single fault safety (SFS) system. In rare cases where a double fault failure occurs simultaneously, with both a motor shaft breakage and reduced SFS system performance, customers have reported instances of the lift strap lowering more quickly than expected during use.
